Subject: Sime Bowling

ELIZA:

On Tuesday night I went down to Brisbane to watch my channel, Zoe Farris, bowl (league bowling - competition). I would have been going down anyway as it is "that time of the month" again (ie. one month since our "hunt" in the forest - time for transfer) and she needed my support.

It worked - she won 2 out of the 3 games, and at a higher score then she has ever reached before. She wants me to go down whenever she plays competition now!

Down the far end there were a group of UNI students bowling. Drunk as skunks and twice as smelly! I pointed out that, the way they were falling down on a regular basis, there was possibly some channeling (healing) work to be done (such a good companion, always looking for work for my channel). Zoe, however, said "I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot tenticle!"

That being the case, when I found that another member of the team had a headache I immediatly let Zoe know. How was I to know the woman was a Sime Phobe? However, Zoe, in her wonderful calming way, explained to the woman what she was going to do and the woman allowed her to do so (the headache appearently being worse then the fear). Zoe then had some healing work to do on my hand after the woman held it so tight that I'm sure there was major bone crushing type damage!

What fun :)

ZOE:

yes, having my campanion around was indeed vey benificial to my bowling, 143 in two games and 113 in another.(very good scores for me) i have discovered that Eliza's ancastory must have been Madagascan, (thank's Jean). At one stage Eliza noticd her shoe lace undone, and she looked at me puppy dog eyes and then at her shoe. I automatically leant over and started doing it up before I realised I had moved. Mmmmmmm. I wonder what made me do that.

Also, not being used to having a Gen around all the time I have come to the conclusion that I need to stock up my kitchen.

I have only encountered one other Simephobe before and was surprised when Chas reacted the way she did to her massage, she nearly lept into Eliza's arms in fright. Lucky I wasn't making any lateral contact or I'd have died where i stood, and that's no good for the bowling team's efforts to win.

Ahhhhh. i also found out why Simes don't sleep long hours. it's not matabalism (well yes it is) but it's also gens staying awake all night, just because i kept talking to her didn't mean she had to keep answering. :)

ELIZA:

Next weekend it's the Abbey Museum Medieval Tournament. The Abbey Museum is exactly that - an old stone Abbey (yes, religious) that has a Medieval Tournament every year to raise funds for the Museum that they run. It's not a bad little Museum either, and is appearently suppose to be haunted or something. They have interesting things in there. As well as the usual pots and jars and Queen Victoria's shoe, they have the foot from an Egyptian Mummy. (I am always tempted to see if it fits in Queen Vicies shoe, but they won't let me.)

Zoe is coming to that too. We will probibly tell you about that afterwards :)

Until then....
