Subject: Goss: Householding Halwyn

Halwyn now has a physical location although I haven't done a sign for the door yet (still unpacking!) Nor have we found the cameras (they are in boxes SOMEWHERE) so I can't show you what Householding Halwyn looks like. Ah well, all things come to those who wait (or should that be "all things come to those who unpack?).

Is it just me, or does it seem like we have had a lot of people on the list moving house recently? Let's see, there was Kaas, then Jenn, then Cpt then Zoe and me.... did I miss anyone? Is this just a coincidence or is this a normal thing considering the number of people we have on the list? Of course, it could be argued that coincidences are also normail things....

So, what has Zoe been up to lately? Mostly packing and then unpacking. She pointed out to me the other day that we are like Xena and Garbiel. She does things - I write about them. Maybe I should consider getting a life of my own to write about!

Last things first....

Last night we went to the Wickem (nightclub) and saw a show. The lady who ran the show caught sight of Zoe and suggested that she should do a few performances. Being gen, and theirfore slightly quicker thinking, I wrote Zoe's phone number down and gave it to Lidia. On the way home Zoe said "Oh shen, I forgot to give Lidia my phone number." Well that is what companions are for isn't it? So I might actually get to see my channel perform LIVE! instead of only on video.

Wade (another channel) was there too, and it's a real treat watching them dance together (about level 6 augmentation at times!). Zoe throws Wade across the floor - Wade lands with sime grace - I watch from the sidelines and worry. At one point Wade "made" Zoe do some particularly unusual movements, then came over to me and said "you are going to have to fix that tomorrow". Geeee thanks Wade. (mental note - get Wade on this list). Wade has read all your books JL and Jean, but is a fan from a distance, being happy to simegen through Zoe rather then join in the fun here.

Moving back in time a bit...

Actually there isn't that much of interest to tell you. Moving house with a sime is much like moving house without one - you still get to do a share of the heavy lifting! (time factors and all that) It's all boring stuff and nothing of nageric importance has happened and we have been too busy to do anything terribly exciting. Hopefully that will all settle down (once we have unpacked totally).

I'm looking forward to doing some more art and working on my Irish simegen story - Zoe is looking forward to working on "Finding Home". I'm also looking forward to sleeping a great deal - but Zoe, being a night person and a sime at that, really doesn't take a gens need for sleep into consideration and keeps me up WAY after 8.30 at night! (my prefered bedtime.)

Will keep you informed.
