Early morning conversation
I was never in the Pens. I went to a special place for talented Gens. They called us "GENius".
Zoe:
I hate to tell you this, but they were Gen Farms.
Eliza:
Oh, that explains why there were so many sheep around.
Zoe:
Actually that was a different matter. They were trying to cross breed Gens and animals to see if they could develop animals who produced selyn. It was a GENetics program.
Eliza:
Did it work?
Zoe:
I believe that they had some limited success. They are still experimenting with in New Zealand.
