Four Ways to Get Archives! 1. Search: Due to some problems with break in attempts, the advanced search engine's development machine been disconnected from the net. It will be restored as soon as it can be determined it is clean. In the meantime, try this simple search. 2. View or Download Online: The monthly archive files put out by the servers can be viewed online, or downloaded in plain text or ZIP formats. They're all here, from August 1996 to present. (last updated 6/6/01) A monster ZIP file of all archives is also available. 3. FTP: The complete archives can also be downloaded via anonymous FTP at ftp://boteeka.roguechannel.com/pub/list_archives/. 4. Web Reader: For simegen.com / keon.simegen.com logs since Aug 1998, go here. It is a web-based archives reader with the messages organized by your choice of thread, author, subject or date. You can also download a bulk log containing a month of messages. You do not have to be subscribed to use these features. Note: The original simegen-l and its archives have finally been expunged from siu.edu's servers. Therefore it is no longer possible to obtain older logs by emailing listserv@siu.edu.
